In this doctoral thesis are presented in detail the researches regarding the techniques of predictive maintenance applied to the electronic equipment and the manufacturing processes related to them. Classic methods and techniques of electronic equipment monitoring and diagnosis are analysed, as well as modern methods and techniques. Also in this paper are studied electronic equipment that are able to carry out remote on-line monitoring of vital functioning parameters of the industrial electronic installations. In this paper, software algorithms for monitoring and diagnostics of electronic equipment involved in manufacturing processes proposed. In the last chapter, the paper deals with the subject of virtual metrology, which has lately experienced an increase in interest in research and application. The paper presents the optimisation of the studied maintenance techniques and at the same time proposes new solutions for achieving the predictive maintenance that are validated by the results obtained.
