“Think like un artist to create great works of art that people wi want to own dnd that will also stand the test of time” - Steve Jobs. This thesis ensures openness to innovation and provide several paradigms to prepare teachers for an instruction in the context of digitalisation. The Education 4.0 improves the quality of teaching with the methods of Artificial Intelligence and IoT. The Education 4.0 framework can be used to foster students' performance, to motivate them by means of adaptive and personalised learning, to automate answers of many routine questions and to improve the quality of online examination. This relieves teachers of routine work, enables them to individualise the educational process and participate in innovation. The Early Recognition System uses predictive models of student activity and detects causes of a possible drop out, using learning analytics and real time data captured in an adaptive learning environment. Taking advantage of embedded sensors (non-invasive, low cost and distraction free) built into wearable devices real-time data can be used to support students' success, well-being and health. The proposed IoT solution for the Education 4.0 can be implemented for any kind of platform. Such an architecture can also be adapted io other age groups or profiles, as well as to support human resource development and training programmes. For the future, higher education requires the training of students to meet the requirements of the Industry 4.0, a certification by the industry of the learned skills and a close collaboration between academia and industry.
