Summary of the PhD thesis in English. The thesis consists in original methods transposed into hardware and software prototypes, conceived, designed and manufactured for improving the accuracy and precision of the biochemical assays, which are tested, compared and analyzed with actual medical commercial equipment. The original prototypes are developed from the synthesis of the basis of the approached domain, starting from the theoretical model of a biochemistry equipment, which uses the Beer-Lamber law, being additional to the medical equipment (automatic single-use cuvette windows cleaner, total dissolved solids and turbidimetric meter for deionized water, automated ultrasonic cleaner for reusable cuvettes, automated three-way sampling device mixer) or automated stand-alone analyzers which use image acquisition (automated liquid-based and dry biochemistry, coagulation and hemoglobin/hematocrit analyzers). The precision and the accuracy are also increased by the continuous automatic monitoring, analyzing, pre-diagnosing and signalizing the analyzer-received results using a novel and original developed telemedicine platform. These new methods lead to further development of an universal analyzer that embeds multiple biochemical parameters, without the need of separate instruments for measuring those assays. The author has published 7 ISI-indexed and 1 BDI-indexed conference papers and 2 articles in scientific journals (one in a Q2 ISI journal).
